The Capital Development Authority (CDA) will supervise the construction of the road within the boundaries of the federal capital near Kenthla Well, while the remaining portion will be built by KP. The aim is to merge both roads and create the shortest route between Islamabad and Haripur.

The development of this route is expected to have a positive impact on tourism in nearby areas such as Shah Allah Ditta. To cater to tourists, the road will include parking facilities and a park where travelers can relax and enjoy the surroundings.

According to an official, this project will benefit 36 areas, with an estimated population of 200,000 people. These areas include Muslim Colony (Bari Imam), Nur Pur Shahan, Malpur, Shahdara, Mandla, Kot Hathial, Bani Gala, Lakhawal, Phul Garan, Ghora Baz, Tumair, and Lehtrar Road.
